Approach

As a designer Mary does not hesitate to combine existing furniture, fine antiques and decorative object d’ art with inexpensive finds. Working closely with each client and personalizing their living space ensures that the completed environment fully satisfies their specific lifestyle needs. “My experience with commercial work and hospitality design has definitely been an asset for sourcing products and being resourceful with fabricators and contractors which leads to consistency and completeness in the end result.”

Mary also stresses the importance of a budget. “Every project, no matter the scale or scope, must have a budget to provide an essential framework and assists in my communication with my clients”, she says. “For me, being resourceful and imaginative does not compromise my commitment to the aesthetic of design, it enhances it!”
